June 2009 Philippines Nursing Board Exam Results

On June 10, 2009 thousands upon thousands of Philippine Nursing graduates will be flocking to Manila to take the June 2009 Nursing Board Exams. Each of these Nursing hopefuls bring along with them not just their dreams and aspirations, but their parents hopes as well. It wouldn’t be much of a stretch to imagine that at least 90% of these examinees want to pass the exams so they can work abroad. And why not? Nursing pay in the Philippines suck, while compensation abroad assures
them and their family of a good life.

In the last February 2009 Nursing Board Exam results, only 44% passed but still the actual number of those who passed surpassed 39,000. Which means that there will another 30,000 on top of the recent graduates who will be taking the exams. That’s an awesome, awesome number. Of the number of people who will be taking the Nursing Board Exam there will be doctors there as well. Doctors you say? Why yes, I know of several doctors who took Nursing review classes in order to take the Nursing Board Exam and hopefully work abroad. Yep that’s a sad situation right there. Though if you’re pragmatic enough, it totally make sense. Would you really want to practice your medical profession and earn pennies
while nurses abroad earn thousands of dollars?

It would be great if we can get perspectives from Nursing hopefuls here, especially those who just shifted to Nursing as a second profession.

But anyway, watch out for this space because I will be posting here the June 2009 Nursing Board Exam results come June 10, 2009.

Hello thanks for visiting my site. Taytay Falls is just in Laguna. Have to take a bus going to Santa Cruz in Alabang then from Sta, Cruz ride a jeep to Majayjay then from Majayjay ride a jeep again to brgy. Taytay. There are tricycle in Majayjay that can transport u to Taytay just for 100 to 150 pesos.

good luck to all examinees, my daughter is just on the mid year taking up BSN.
I decided of becoming caregiver here rather than continuing office works in Manila. That's true it doubles the salary but low level job type as they said. so what! KAPAG TAPOS NA 3KIDS KO UUWI NA AKO.

It's a bit weird with nurses, but I heard that if you do your qualifications you can live anywhere, in Canada or Australia etc etc.
I'd love my wife to be a nurse to be honest. Thanks for your post.
