I was talking to my cousin earlier and we got around to talking about the September 2010 teachers board exams. She took the LET in September and now she’s one of those anxious teacher hopefuls who can’t wait to see the results of her efforts. Apparently the September 2010 Teachers Board Exams (LET) Results will be released in November, the second week at the earliest, and the last week at the latest. I’m not really sure if she took the LET for the elementary or secondary but the important thing really is that she passes it. I can somehow see her excitement and at the same time her anxiety on what the LET results will be which is really understandable considering that this activity is sort of the culminating event for those who wish to be educators of the Philippines.
On the SEO front, this entry is a bit late if I am to hope for a good showing in the search engine rankings by the time the LET results are announced. Nevertheless, one can’t help but try and just hope for the best. Already this year, I took top rankings in the CPA board exams keyword and though I hate to admit it, I was sort of the culprit for our servers crashing every minute or so when the results were released by PRC. But really, that’s a beautiful problem. If our servers were to crash, I would rather that it’s because it can’t stand the traffic onslaught instead of some other trivial reason.
If I do make it to the top rankings in the Teachers board exam rankings, then I can only imagine the havoc that the amount of traffic would have on our servers considering that the number of examinees for the teachers board exams is significantly higher than the number of CPA examinees. If the traffic from the cpa board exams managed to run our servers to the ground for two days, imagine the stress that the teachers board exams traffic would do to our servers. But like I said, it’s a beautiful problem, so no worries for me.
Anyway, getting top rankings from an event such as this is truly gratifying. For me, the monetary gain (if any) is not really the prime motivator– it’s the thought that you were able to stand on top of the SEO heap that makes it very, very satisfying.
