**Latest Update
And for some reason, my PR has now gone back up to PR4. lol. This is a rollercoaster ride I’m telling ya.
**Update
Looks like there’s some pendulum-swinging going on. Earlier today I got excited over the PR bump I thought I got from Google. I checked the PRcheckers around and the bump was confirmed. After a few hours however, I landed back to earth. With a thud. Looks like Google is still fine tuning its update so I’m now back to my curvaceous PR3 although some site checkers still insist that I got the bump. Oh well better not get too excited. Weh.
Forgive my immodesty dear visitor, but if you will kindly direct your attention to your google toolbar, the part where they show the page rank of this blog, you may notice that there are far more green there than you may have been accustomed to.
That’s right, google’s at it again. The PR ranking system has been updated and I am, proudly and unabashedly, happy to say that my little PR 3 was given a little bump in the posterior. I thought it was just one of those residual PRs from other far more significant blogs, but when I checked it at prchecker.info and domainpr.com, my hopes were confirmed. This blog’s page rank is now at sweet number 4.
Now what does this mean? Absolutely nothing. lol. Except when people start pounding on my doors wanting to advertise on my blog(as if that would happen) and in which case, I may be forced to provide premium pricing– this being a PR4 blog and all.
Oh well, this is wishful thinking but hey, it’s always nice to dream.

March has been a tremendous month for this blog. Finally there seems to be a definite direction for this blog to take. If you think this is still all over the place, you should have visited me a few months ago. The month of March saw this blog reach new heights in terms of daily traffic and posts. I won’t mention the average daily traffic now (it’s laughable by other people’s standards) but it is a personal best.
I’ve also come to some realizations this month. Chief of them is that sponsored posts will forever drag your blog to muck and back not to mention that you don’t exactly endear yourself to Google. Why endear ourselves to Google? Well if you haven’t noticed, the internet this days has become Google’s playground, and as they say, when in Rome..
The Mac, unfortunately I have to say this, rules. There are some things you can do with the Mac that PC users can only dream about. If you’ve read the article I did on breaking the Entrecard Bank, and I even audaciously mentioned that I will be sharing that one here. I’m going back on my word on that. I am about to get a much faster internet connection and we’ll see if things will turn out a lot better for that system that I made.
I’ve already applied my system to other internet related things and it’s very, very successful. Mac users who are still not on to this thing may want to start asking themselves what has the Mac got that the PC doesn’t, and what has it got to do with Entrecard? There I’m already giving myself away.
I have also convinced myself that affiliate programs is the way to go. Sure it takes a lot of effort and will need lots of traffic to succeed but then again, what kind of endeavor doesn’t require work? And if there is, where’s the fun in that?
The next month will see me focusing on the following areas, Freelancing as a money making activity, rounding off the best ebooks around (frankly we need to read a lot about this thing called the internet and blogging in general), and of course my obsession with free blogging templates.
I’ll be making up topics as I go along so I hope you enjoy this ride with me.
By the way, if you feel that we have related blogs, you could always send me a note for a link exchange at pop.javi(at)yahoo.com.
Here’s to another month of blogging!!

**Update!! Here’s the link for the full result.
In a few hours the 2007 Philippines Bar Exam Results will be out in the streets and a lot of folks’ tears will flow. This is inevitable as only a handful of examiners are bound to be successful. But behind the background there’s another race that’s brewing (one that I’m more interested in), and that’s the race to be on top of Google’s search engine for this keyword. It is expected that thousands would flock to the internet to check whether their favorite uncle or son or neighbor passed the exam and those on top of the ranking will definitely get the lion’s share of this targeted traffic. And as you know traffic translates to lots of money.
Local SEOs have been really busy the past few days positioning themselves to be on top of the heap. It would be really interesting who’d get the first place. The one leading the pack is philippineboardexamresults.blogspot.com. Let’s see if he keeps that position when it matters the most– which is today. I’ll be keeping my eyes tightly peeled on this one.
This is bound to be one hell of a bloody race.
