THE WordPress SEO Guide

I have written a while back on a free WordPress seo ebook and how it is a very helpful tool for anybody that’s starting with WordPress. Here comes another definitive SEO guide to WordPress, and I mean this is THE WORDPRESS SEO GUIDE. But this time it does not come in an ebook. It’s written as a very comprehensive article in Joost De Valk’s Yoast.com.

His SEO guide covers;

  • Basic Technical Optimization
  • Template Optimization
  • Advanced Technical Optimization
  • Altering Your Blog Structure For Higher Rankings
  • Conversion Optimization
  • Comment Optimization
  • Offsite Blog Optimization

I got to hand it to the man, the things he discussed in his article really got me thinking and needless to say, I will be implementing a lot of what he mentioned in this blog.

    So what would be the best way to increase your site’s visibility and relevancy in the search engines? You can never go wrong if you provide good content, you will generate targeted traffic – via search engines or word of mouth. This will definitely enhance your website in the eyes of the search engines. You want to be attractive to the search engines when you’re trying to build your links by acquiring a handful of links from high page rank-endowed relevant sites. SEO can make the content of your web pages highly relevant, extremely attractive, and easy to read by search engines and their crawling and indexing software.
