Category: Shoemoney’s post, Blog or News Site, got me thinking about the direction that Third World Geek is going. If one were to look closely, there seems to be an assortment of things going here. Looks like everything is happening all at once with blog posts going on every direction.
I thought about the ‘central theme’ of this blog and decided that it’s alright.
First of all this is my blog and with that I can do whatever it is that I want to do with it, however petty it might sound. But really, the things that I write about here, these are the things that really interest me. I talk about tennis because I used to play tennis a lot and would like to play some more if I decide to get off my lazy ass. I’m also a huge fan of boxing so I talk about that too. And like any normal guy, I like shiny new things so I talk about gadgets, etc. etc..
But most of the time, I talk about blogging (and how unsuccessful I am at it so far, lol). This is where I want to focus on. But then again my life does not revolve around blogging. I do have other interests so I talk about them as well.
The upside of this is that I don’t run out of anything to say. Booya!

Tennis, boxing, gadgets and blogging. Not bad – all of these are engaging topics for me, too. What about the birds and bees? Not interested? I can see the ears of your two little elves prick up as I say this. lol
Im been thinking of starting a blog but odn't know whether to focus on one subject, sport, or make it a more personal thing
The important thing is to start! Once you become comfortable writing, you’ll see your inclinations. :) Don’t just think about it, do it. :)
I find it difficult to have a one-focus blog or particular niche blog. I also ask this question to myself and laugh, hahaa! The most important thing is that we have something to write about (on our blog). Otherwise blogging would be dull. :-)
I tend to prefer blogs which cover more topics. I tend to find niche blogs a little boring and geared towards making good adsense money
I used to make and see educational blogs .. it's great for knowledge ..^_^
